Hiring
Most hats you see on my website are available to hire either through myself at Laura may bridal or through The Pretty Perfect Boutique in Cardiff. Any that aren’t available to try on at the boutique we can arrange to meet up for you to see and try on. For more information please email anwenbentley@gmail.com.
I recommend you make your reservation as soon as you can with plenty of time prior to the event but no later than 2 weeks in advance of your event to help guarantee availability and for you to receive it in time.
Hire prices start from £50 + depending on style and size. You can either collect and return the hat to me at an arranged date and time or I can post or courier the hat to you. Please note, postage and the courier service is additional to the hire charge.
To hire a hat/fascinator a £20 refundable deposit is required to secure the booking. Only once the deposit has been paid will your booking be confirmed. The full payment of the rental charge plus postage is due on top of this before the hat is posted out to you.
Hats/fascinators will be checked thoroughly before collection/posting out to you. On the day of receiving the hat/fascinator you must check it yourself and inform me of any damage.
If the hat is lost, stolen or damaged (including any dents, loss of decoration or water damage) then you will lose the initial £20 deposit.
Please take care when wearing one of my hats/fascinators, they are very fragile and shouldn’t be worn in the rain, if so it should be kept under the umbrella at all times.
Once a hat/fascinator has been taken/posted for hire it is considered a hire even if it has not been worn. There will be no refund.
Hire durations usually are for five days with certain exceptions. If the hat is not returned within this period an additional charge is owed per day until returned.
If you would like to cancel your order please let me know as soon as possible by contacting us on anwenbentley@gmail.com. The full hire fee will be refunded for any cancellations made 14 days before the hire date. For any cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the hire date will lose the initial £20 deposit.
